Lightning Linux 3.3 and higher support PPTP passthrough from a client on the LAN network to a server on the WAN network. The NAT functionality of the MultiCom Firewall will automatically take care of the traffic flow.

The 3.2 Lightning Linux offers the possibility to configure a PPTP site in place of a PPPoE site. However this functionality is limited for use with the Alcatel Modem ANT-1000 and has only been tested in Holland and Austria. It is not designed for use over the Internet or between a Microsoft Server.
