If the caller is behind a private PABX (call center) you may need to use the command below to allow the caller to open a B Channel. When a call is from behind a PABX the exact number(extension) may be unknown and the telephone exchange identifies the source as "insecure". Using the "<UNSURE>" command allows the MultiCom to answer such a call.
Code:
ISDN NumberEnabled <UNSURE>phonenumber          <------for example
ISDN NumberEnabled 41216542000
ISDN NumberEnabled <UNSURE>41216542000

Simply add a second line for the phone number in question using the <UNSURE> command.

If no calls are getting through your MultiCom router or your ISDN line may be misconfigured. Try checking the following questions.
  1. You must have the Caller ID feature for you ISDN line. Be sure that your Telco has enabled this feature.
  2. Do you need a Multiple Subscriber Number (MSN) configured for each ISDN device on your phone line? Check with your Telco.
  3. Check that the PPP authentication information is correct (the type of authentication and the username and password.)
