If you have tried to telnet to the MultiCom Firewall and received this message

Code:
Linux 2.4.5 (MultiCom) (ttyp1)
MultiCom login: multicom
Password:
failed to create lock file: Permission denied

Then there is already a telnet session open to your Firewall. Only 1 telnet session to the Firewall is allowed at 1 time. You will need to close the other session or if the other session was terminated incorrectly you will have to wait for the MultiCom Firewall to close it.
