Starting in firmware 3.2, the MultiCom Firewall distributes IP addresses starting from the top of a subnet going down. Previous versions started at the bottom of the subnet and incremented upwards.

For example, in 3.1 and before 3.1, the first DHCP clients would receive 10.0.0.17 as an IP address. In 3.2 and firmware after 3.2, the first IP address will be 10.0.2.254 in the default settings.
